Madison Mallards BB game 06-04-10
Imperial and Rebel forces invaded the stadium in support of the Mallards Star Wars Night. Special Guest Jake Lloyd (Annakin Skywalker) was on hand for photo and Autographs.
Shot of me with "Da beer man". Has got to be a classic.

Bartlett parade yesterday.
What a great crowd and a lot of good friends to troop it with.


Here I am high stepping and giving the thumbs up. Within the bags we are carrying are bags
of marshmallows that we give to people on the route.
I was particularly proud of the one throw I made to a lady waving at me for a bag. I hook shot the bag over my head sideways to her about 20 feet away and she caught it without moving.

Racine Fourth fest parade.
July 5th, 2010
We spent a lot of time and energy building this float of Jabbas palace.
Complete with a full scale Jabba on the back and Han in Carbonite on the front.
Our sound system rocked everyones world.
We won the Charles Arnold award for the second year in a row. I wasn't involved last year.
Glad I am now though!
Our staging area is one block from my parents home so I took this pic wih my Aunt.
Isn't she cute?

Star Wars in concert, 07/08/10
Alliant Energy center, Madison, WI.
Had a great time and have seen good reviews of the event.
Even some mention of "The costumed characters."
Had a very nice changing area for this one. Much better than we have had at other venues.



I wore gunner at the Milwaukee show so it doesn't count.
Still got to take pic.s with Anthony Daniels, here is buckets off,
I'm bottom right, it's a bear being the guy who can kneel.

B-day party organized by yours truly.
We made this into a two for one when we met some disabled
boys at the neighbors house where we were to change into our gear.
We yucked it up over there for some time and they enjoyed having
troopers in the house.

Had a DK books event at the Barnes and Noble store in Mayfair Mall, Milwaukee, WI.
We were mobbed as soon as we walked out to sign books and pose for pic.s
Things loosened up after about an hour.
The Mall cops wouldn't let us go out into the mall.
I guess they thought we might get into trouble?

It's nice to have someone taking pic.s at these things.

When the manager/owner at PF Changs next to Barnes and Noble
found out we were there he invited us to walk through the restaurant.
He sweetened the deal by offering us lunch on the house.
This was fun. I like doing impromptu troops where noone expects us.
I saw more mouths open with food hanging out than ever before doing this one.

On a roll posting these today.
August 28th was our big annual Rocket Launch called, "Eat Cheese or Fly".
The club WOOSH , www.wooshrocketry.org
hosts the event every year and we always have a bunch of fun events at this event.
For the Star Wars drag race we invited the 501st and Rebel Legion to attend.
Two members built large flying Death Star rockets. One of them is in our group shot.
