Hey Jim,
Yes I did get it. Last Thursday as a matter of fact.
While I don't have the pics off my camera yet I do have a report about Aaron Douglas.
At Emerald City Comic Con I was the first in his line. The 501st were able to get in way early, before they even opened the doors to the guests, to set up shop and whatnot.
Anyway when I came upto him I said
"As a friend of the legion are you ready for your 501st readiness preparation test?"
He said, "Uh no." and at that point I slammed the challenge coin, I had a special tie fighter coin for him, down on his table top.
He was surprised, but picked it up and said cool.
I then asked him "what's your response?" I half expected him to have no idea what I was talking about, but instead he reached into his pocket and answered with his Marine Corps Challenge coin. SWEET
Anyway said I had a whole bunch of 501st goodies for him and I gave him the patch, coin, and the paper. He loved it.
I told him "Aaron now I expect you to hold onto this, and only throw it away when he gets home."
He looked at me like I was crazy and said
"Hell no I save all this stuff. The coins I have on display at home, but the patches I throw in a drawer."
Anyway he liked it and had the patch, and paper, on display,at his table, through the whole con. The coin he put in his pocket because he didn't want anybody to try and palm it.
I tried inviting him out to dinner with the 501st but unfortunately the BSG actors all had plans to go out afterwards........
All in all it was a great con.....~!

Haha, I always wondered what the VIPs did with the patches we gave them at cons. I suspected that at best they all went in a drawer or box. Um, come to think of it though... most of my patch collection is in a box
