Assistant Legion Club Envoy

Greetings JRS,

I wanted to let you all know that Albin Johnson (Legion Commanding Officer) has appointed me as the Assistant Legion Club Envoy for 2010. I will be assisting the Legion Club Envoy (Percy Ricaud) TK/D/R/S-1268 <Terror Australia Garrison> in these matters.

With that, I would like to get your assistance on my first mission in this position. I along with Percy are trying to build a comprehensive data-base of all the Star Wars related fan clubs throughout the globe. Our mission is to make contact with as many clubs as possible in an effort to open lines of communication and build friendship between our clubs.

Albin is very interested in working with the many different Star Wars Clubs and to cultivate new and better friendships for the upcoming events planned for 2010. He wants all our clubs to work together when possible to make sure there are open lines of communication to ensure we ALL have a great time at troops and other events for 2010.

In the end, the Legion and ALL the Star Wars clubs share that passion and that love binds us all. Please help me by providing any information you may have. This is what I am looking for:

1. Star Wars Related Club Name
2. Location of the Club
3. Web address (if they have one)
3. President or spokesperson of the club with EMAIL if at all possible.

Congrats on the nod Shep, you have a big job on your hands.

Let me begin with a very active local group called Redstick Rebellion. RSR is a very active toy
and collectible collecting group workign in Baton Rouge to spread the news about SW to others
who enjoy collecting and learnign more about collections.
The group is open to anyone.

The group hosts an annual event called Costume Fan Day for kids and parents, and I have been involved the
the last two years running panels. They also do two toy collection drives for Cancer Services Center
of Greater Baton Rouge and take part in the very special holiday dinner, which is one of the
best events I have done in the Legion. Thier after-parties are not to be missed.

I myself do not know of any clubs here in Bakersfield Ca. I tried starting one a long time ago.... Sorry got carried away We had a few meetings, but soon most people lost intrest. If I hear anything I will let you know. & again Congrats on the job

here's info on the Star Wars Customizable Card Game Player's Committee. The SWCCG is a customizable card game that was developed by and produced by Decipher, Inc. during the years 1995 - 2001. That year Decipher lost their licence from LucasFilm, but the players kept the game going and even develpoing many new cards and game functions. The SWCCG is a place where players from all around the world can meet and enjoy their game, and that is also where you can find tournaments and the world championships. There is also a PC version of the game so you do not have to have the actual cards just to play - although the actual cards are easily and cheaply available.
