TIE Pilot Lore

At long last I can say I have gone through all the Decipher cards.

What I have done is to go through all TIE, pilot and Navy cards to see if there are any references to the Imperial Navy or Imperial Pilots of any kind. I have also included Navy personnel serving on Star Destroyers and the Star Destroyers themselves.

In some cases I have been unsure whether I should include the persons or not. In those cases, they are marked [??] after their name. Even though I have marked some with [??] I might still be wrong with some of those that I have felt more comfortable with including. I'll leave this up to you to discuss further if you do not agree with my selection.

The way I thought was that Navy personnel serving on capital starships are a part of the same force as TIE pilots - and perhaps even actually were budding pilots themselves at one time when at the Academy.

I have not included Navy Troopers or Navy Trooper related people in this search. The reason why is that I sort of view the Navy Troopers as a kind of the Imperial equivalent of the "U.S. Marines". The Stormtroopers I tend to view as the Imperial equivalent of the german "SS". Alright - maybe this view might be wrong (and I am open for discussion) - but that was how I thought when I tried to bring forth all the people we here in the JRS might want to have a closer look at or get to know better - for our own sake.

My search has revealed 140 cards so far, and in this segment I will present to you the CHARACTERS I have found. I have also looked at Starfighters, Squadrons, Star Destroyers, Weapons, Effects and Interrupts that might be of interest to the TIE Pilot Community. So - here goes (this will be done in several posts):

Lore: Veteran of the Imperial military machine. Leader of the Imperial fleet at Endor. Skilled at political maneuvering and appeasing his powerful superiors.

Lore: Elite fleet engineer. Technically brilliant. Key operator of magnetic signature sensors monitoring Star Destroyer hulls.

Lore: Captain on the Executor. Monitored probe droid telemetry. His flawless record of arrests and suppressions has contributed to an impressive rise through the ranks.

Lore: Piett's nephew. Once granted audience with Emperor. On fast-track to promotion. Absolutely fearless spy.

Lore: Officer from Kalist VI. Due to a political blunder, was stripped of most official duties. Relegated to shuttling dignitaries and high-ranking Imperials.

Lore: Deck officer aboard the Super Star Destroyer Executor. Responsible for preventing unauthorized access to sensitive areas of the Empire's flagship. Hand-picked by Captain Piett.

Commander Merrejk

Lore: Elite Imperial scout and spy. Often poses as a freighter captain making runs to the Outer Rim. Monitors activities of Rebels and other criminals.

Lore: Vader's aide on the Devastator. Personally supervised search for Death Star plans on Tatooine by Vader's order. Was graduated with honors from Imperial Navy Academy on Carida.

Darth Vader

Lore: Dark Lord of the Sith. Servant of Emperor's. Encased in armor with cybernetic life support. Student of Obi-Wan Kenobi. Was the best starpilot in the galaxy. Cunning warrior.

Lore: Hard-working Avenger signal officer. Coordinates and tests tractor beam operations. Apprises Executor of his ship's activities and relays orders from the flagship to his captain.
